Amy Dombroski on K-Edge

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

AceCo Sport Group recently provided Amy Dombroski with our new K-Edge Ring Guard and a K-Edge Cross prototype chain catcher. Here’s what Amy had to say about them:

“I have been on a quest to make my bikes as light as possible, while also riding some of the best and most innovative equipment.  When I found AceCo’s K-Series Cycling Solutions, I grew one step closer this.  AceCo is light-years ahead of any competition in their product design and ingenuity.  It also helps that they have the brilliant mind and bike racer, Kristin Armstrong as the impetus behind their K-Edge chain catchers.  I am happy to have AceCo’s support in my cycling endeavors because it is a product I truly believe in and can trust that there is as much thought behind the product as there is in my training.” — Amy Dombroski

Marin County Triathlon

Monday, November 9th, 2009

Hello there,
I just wanted to write and say that I saw the K-Edge tent at the Marin County Tri and thought it was an interesting idea, but didn’t think that I would need something like that since my chain had never dropped off during a race.  Then, during a climb in the bike portion of the race the very next day, believe it or not, my chain popped off during a shift…UGGH!  After unclipping and while fixing my chain as riders passed by I thought…  ”the K-Edge maybe would’ve been a smart buy”.  So, I just purchased this item online for my Cervelo S1 and am excited that I will never have to worry about a dropped chain again!…  Also, I just wanted to say that following Kristin for about 5 minutes before her and TJ pulled away from me (since they were averaging over 26 mph throughout the very crowded and technical course!!!…) was an absolute thrill! :) What a great cyclist she is…
