K-Edge in the Giro

Nice K-Edge coverage from one of our favorite pro teams in the Giro: Velonews – Highroad

Ki2 Santa Cruz Tallboy

Sunday, March 20th, 2011

We just finished building Matt’s (our web designer and fearless test pilot) Santa Cruz Tallboy with a custom blue Ki2 kit. As expected, shifts like a dream. Note the latest refinement to the shift pod placement; slightly further under the bars and 10degree angle toward the hand. We still need to do some dialing in on the wiring, but for a completely external routing, looks very clean.

We’re taking the Ki2 Niner and the Ki2 Santa Cruz out on the trails today. Check back for a report of our first ride on the Tallboy.

Mark Cavendish’s HTC Columbia Scott Project F01

“The build kit is little changed from star sprinter’s previous Addict with a Shimano Dura-Ace mechanical group and pedals, SRM-equipped crankset, fi’zi:k Arione CX Carbon Braided saddle, Elite cages, and AceCo’s increasingly popular K-Edge chain watcher – the latter even custom etched just for Cavendish.”

Another National Championship for Coryn!

Monday, December 14th, 2009
Coryn Rivera showed everyone who’s the boss on Friday with yet another National Jersey to add to her collection. Coryn endured freezing temperatures and an icy course to handily take the win in the Junior Women Cyclo-cross Championships. AceCo Sport Group is a proud sponsor of Coryn and the entire Proman Hit Squad. Great job Coryn!

Amy Dombroski on K-Edge

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

AceCo Sport Group recently provided Amy Dombroski with our new K-Edge Ring Guard and a K-Edge Cross prototype chain catcher. Here’s what Amy had to say about them:

“I have been on a quest to make my bikes as light as possible, while also riding some of the best and most innovative equipment.  When I found AceCo’s K-Series Cycling Solutions, I grew one step closer this.  AceCo is light-years ahead of any competition in their product design and ingenuity.  It also helps that they have the brilliant mind and bike racer, Kristin Armstrong as the impetus behind their K-Edge chain catchers.  I am happy to have AceCo’s support in my cycling endeavors because it is a product I truly believe in and can trust that there is as much thought behind the product as there is in my training.” — Amy Dombroski

Marin County Triathlon

Monday, November 9th, 2009

Hello there,
I just wanted to write and say that I saw the K-Edge tent at the Marin County Tri and thought it was an interesting idea, but didn’t think that I would need something like that since my chain had never dropped off during a race.  Then, during a climb in the bike portion of the race the very next day, believe it or not, my chain popped off during a shift…UGGH!  After unclipping and while fixing my chain as riders passed by I thought…  ”the K-Edge maybe would’ve been a smart buy”.  So, I just purchased this item online for my Cervelo S1 and am excited that I will never have to worry about a dropped chain again!…  Also, I just wanted to say that following Kristin for about 5 minutes before her and TJ pulled away from me (since they were averaging over 26 mph throughout the very crowded and technical course!!!…) was an absolute thrill! :) What a great cyclist she is…
